When I had the chance to interview Dr. Gladys for my Back2Basics Reconnecting to the essence of YOU! Podcast, I was beyond thrilled, because I knew she embodied EVERYTHING that I envisioned in a guest when I first dreamed about having a podcast to inspire others connect to what makes them Tick. Our friendship was cut too short, as we met in August and she left the physical realm in Septmeber. And yet, her wisdom will live with me forever, in the books and the many interviews she did…..she could have lived to a million years and still would have had so many more things to accomplish. She was truly larger than life! My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
Dr Gladys was and always will be an inspiration to my life. Having seen her interviews, learned a little about her life and read her book added and transformed me in a very loving way. I feel her in my heart and I sincerely thank her for her life. I will always keep remembering your teachings!! Very grateful Dr Gladys, I am GLAD!!
Dr.Gladys helped my autistic special daughter as a child in her medical practice with Dr. Bill. She was the one though whose loving attention and thorough application of holistic modalities most improved Vanessa’s life. I later wrote about this in the 1994 Venture Inward magazine: Sojourn with an Autistic Child. I had also interviewed her for my Atlantic University thesis/book, Edgar Cayce and the Eternal Feminine.Mostly she radiated love, sincerity, courage and joy. she is a role model, now and guide, always. I don’t remember how I came across learning of Dr. Gladys but I was intrigued and in awe of her life so I ordered her book “The Well Lived Life”. It arrived on 9/30/24. I was so excited to start reading it. This morning, I was shocked and so saddened when I saw the email saying she passed on 9/28. We went on vacation to Scottsdale twice over the past 4 years to visit my sister in law. How I wish I had known about Dr. Gladys then My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and all her loved ones. What an incredible legacy she leaves and will continue. At 74 this month, I know I will be inspired by her words to live the rest of my days well.
I’ve been thinking everyday of Dr Gladys since I have listened to her book just in the past couple of months. She spoke to my soul. I got on the website today to see if the workshop in October still had space. I so wanted to meet her. Rest in peace Dr. Gladys and know that you are a true inspiration to many. I will think of you often and attempt to live as you did. ❤️. My thoughts and condolences to all who knew her.
What an inspiration Dr Gladys McGarey was. Coming across her work was an absolute joy—I couldn’t believe what this beautiful little lady was doing at the age of 103. Her heart was so full of love and compassion, and her stories were so inspiring, sometimes humourous, and so insightful. When I discovered she was doing weekly live video sessions, I was in awe. She touched my heart as she did so many. Thank you for all you shared. With love, Kathryn
